Biographical note
C.-B. Amphoux, chercheur au CNRS de 1974 à 2008, a étudié les manuscrits et l'histoire du texte de la Bible. Il a dirigé l'Académie des langues anciennes du CNRS de 1981 à 2000 et co-dirige la collection Histoire du texte biblique (Le Zèbre, Lausanne).
J.K.Elliott holds doctorates from the University Of Wales and the University of Oxford and has recently retired as Professor of New Testament Textual Criticism from the University of Leeds. He has published extensively on the apocryphal New Testament and on Greek manuscripts.
